Sea Brix™
Food for plants, formulated to maximise photosynthesis and lift brix levels.
Sea Brix is a soil and foliar feed built around Amino K, fish hydrolysate, kelp and Triacontanol, plus a broad range of macro and micro elements, plant hormones and enzymes. It’s designed to maximise photosynthesis, the process that ultimately drives higher brix (sugar, mineral and protein) levels in the plant.
Maximises photosynthesis
The engine behind higher brix levels.
Pest & disease resistance
Higher brix strengthens natural defences.
Flowering & productivity
Helps break dormancy and drive cell division.
Tank-mix friendly
Pairs with calcium, potassium & magnesium foliars.
Why Sea Brix
Sea Brix combines Amino K, fish hydrolysate, kelp and Triacontanol with macro and micro trace elements, hormones and enzymes. Together they’re formulated to maximise photosynthesis, which is what ultimately lifts brix: the sugar, mineral and protein content of the plant’s sap.
Higher brix means better taste and shelf life, stronger natural pest and disease resistance, and more resilient flowering and fruit set.
Application guide
Sea Brix is applied as a foliar, soil or seed treatment, often as a microbe food source alongside trace-element foliars (calcium nitrate, potassium nitrate, potassium sulphate, magnesium sulphate, MAP). One published example: roughly 2 L/ha Sea Brix alongside 5 kg/ha potassium sulphate for potassium-deficiency correction, this is a specific case, not a universal blanket rate. Confirm crop-specific rates with Zylem.

What growers say about Sea Brix
“SeaBrix has become an integral part of our mother plant nutrition programme. As a natural input, it consistently supplies a balanced source of essential macronutrients and trace micronutrients while assisting in maintaining a stable root-zone pH. This has simplified our fertigation strategy and improved overall nutrient availability. Since incorporating SeaBrix, we have observed stronger vegetative growth, improved leaf colour and enhanced plant vigour.”
“Bladen Farming has been using SeaBrix for the best part of the last two decades as an additional fertiliser component in our normal programme. As a multicrop, rotational-grazing farm on predominantly poor, sandy soils, we feel that SeaBrix has taken the pressure off trying to over-analyse the plants’ nutrient requirements. Recently we have trialled the SeaBrix NPK product on our export cherry pepper crop with fantastic results in an otherwise poor climate season.”
